九州大学大学院 芸術工学府にて博士号取得
博報堂コーポレ―トコミュニケーション局 情報デザイン１部長、米マサチューセッツ工科大学（ＭＩＴ）客員研究員、ＩＨＣＤ特別研究員（フェロー）、慶応義塾大学講師、博報堂ユニバーサルデザイン所長、東京大学先端科学技術研究センター交流研究員、博報堂ダイバーシティデザイン所長を経て現職。
多様な人を対象とした視認性に優れた文字やグラフイック、パッケージの制作、ユニバーサルデザインの店舗、まちづくり、患者や入居者に配慮した病院、高齢者施設のブランディング、インドやインドネシアなど、途上国の貧困層向けの調査や商品開発、SDGsへ取り組みなど、 ”人間中心”をキーワードとした、研究、デザイン制作、教育活動、国政連携、社会連携事業に従事 。
現在は、人間中心デザイン、社会課題解決イノベーション、未来デザインの研究と社会クリエーションを中心に活動中。
